Nightmare on Elm Street

Nightmare on Elm Street. Wes Craven's classic slasher follows a group of Midwestern teenagers stalked by the terrifying Freddy Krueger (Robert Englund), a disfigured killer who attacks his victims in their dreams — and kills them in reality. As the body count rises, Nancy (Heather Langenkamp) investigates the nightmare connection and uncovers a dark secret tied to her parents and those of her friends. Racing to stay awake and piece together the truth, Nancy and her boyfriend Glen (Johnny Depp) must confront Freddy before the dream becomes permanent.
