The older I get the less I am concerned about things like scent, name brand, etc. I just want something that WORKS. My lips get chapped and the skin peels in the winter. Applying most ChapSticks just sits on top of the dry peeling skin. It doesn't feel like it does anything to prevent it. I have tried everything from EoS, carmex, blistex, chapstick, smackers, berts bees.....
And the number of high reviews made me try this one. It is amazing. It is slightly more slippery than regular chap sticks, but it isn't quite a gloss. It is like the perfect happy medium between a gloss and a stick. It IS in a stick form, it just feels a tad more oily, slippery, and moisturizing than regular ChapSticks I have tried (which is probably the coconut oil in it). The scent isn't noticeable (I feel like it doesn't have one at all but some with sensitives noses might notice a scent), however I could care less about the scent (unless it smells bad). It lasts a while. And it melts into my lips, moisturizes, and gets rid of chapped lips. It gets absorbed into my lips, and it feels like it gets absorbed fast.
I don't think I am ever going to use the rest of my stash I have collected to try, as none of them can compare to this one. I already have 2 more in my cart so I can have extra, and one for purse, pocket, car, and office. I am glad I decided to try this. If you have been searching for a ChapStick, do yourself a favor and try this one. While it may not be everyone's holy grail, there is a reason it has so many positive reviews. Its that good. Try it.
